Parent, Teachers, and Friends' Association (PTFA)
Our Parents, Teachers, and Friends’ Association (PTFA) is committed to raising money to support the school community. As a group of committed families, we regularly run events including ‘Doughnut Days’, Quiz Nights, and support whole-school events such as Bishop’s Got Talent, Open Evenings and, of course, school productions to raise money for school projects and purchases. Recently these funds have supported the purchase of outdoor furniture, microscopes to support practical experiments in science, a 3D printer for the design technology department, and a set of iPads for students to improve their digital skills.
Additionally, we support the school in other ways and encourage families to donate second hand (or 'pre-loved') uniform, to enable our school community to help support each other. We also run the '100 club,' our monthly prize draw. This is another way of raising funds, for a payment of £12, which can be made via ParentPay.
We wish to continue our fundraising efforts and will send further communication and updates to families via email. We are always looking for volunteers to join us and support our events, be that through providing raffle prizes, selling refreshments, or sharing further ideas for fundraising opportunities.
Meetings are usually held at the school every half-term, and we'd be delighted to welcome new members.
Should you require further information, or indeed wish to support us in our fundraising endeavours, please contact us directly by email or Mrs Smith, Assistant Head. Do not forget to look out for the optional donation button via ParentPay should you wish to make a small, but very much appreciated contribution.

On behalf of the committee, we hope that you will all continue to support “The PTFA” and hopefully have fun at the same time!
