The Bishop of Llandaff usually admits up to 170 places to students in Year 12. Current students at school are given priority of admission, providing they meet entry requirements. However, each year we admit a number of students from other schools in the local and wider area who wish to attend our sixth form.
Students who apply do so knowing that the school aims to provide an education based on Christian principles and therefore governors expect all students to play an active role in our school ethos.

Most AS/A2 subjects have an entry requirement of at least a C grade at GCSE. However, to study English, mathematics, economics (in mathematics) and science there is a minimum B grade entry requirement.
All students must follow Welsh Baccalaureate in Year 12/13. If students participate in representative honours (in sport, performing arts etc) then they may be exempt from sitting the examination. This will need to be agreed with the school in writing.
Students may only follow one subject choice at either Radyr or Whitchurch while studying at The Bishop of Llandaff.
