Autism Awareness

The Marion Centre works closely with the Local Authority Autism Support Team, hosting ASD awareness training for local authority school and non-school based staff and post diagnostic workshops for parents/carers.    

The landscape of Special Educational Needs (SEN) is changing as Welsh Government unveil the new Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act. In readiness for the full implementation of the ALNET (Wales) Act we hold Person Centred Annual Review meetings considering the following questions

  • What we like and admire about...?
  • What is working well?
  • What is not working or could be better?
  • What is important to... now?
  • What is the best way to support... ?
