Curriculum Overview

The Marion Centre provides a thematic approach to the delivery of the curriculum to students, underpinned by the Curriculum for Wales.

The themes form the starting point for all decisions on the content and educational experiences to support our students to be

  • ambitious, capable learners ready to learn throughout their lives

  • enterprising, creative contributors ready to play a full part in life and work

  • ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world

  • healthy, confident individuals ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society            

We strive for all our students to make excellent individual progress through creative learning opportunities, commensurate with their individual starting point. We encourage our students to develop their self-awareness, confidence and self-esteem as they mature into young adults.
